FRIDAY October 16, 2015:
“OMHA SCF Pilot Expansion“
Got Appeals?
Who doesn’t…
Make ’em count!
The Office of Medicare Hearings and Appeals just issues an expansion program for their Settlement Conference Facilition Pilot Program. One wonders at what point it is not a pilot, yes? Anyway, they are expanding to more Part B appeals filed in FY 2014, and say they are planning to even add “some” Part A appeals, next year.
Let’s not hold our breath, eh?

Legendary rascal, former ALJ, author, and speaker on Medicare, hearing strategy, presentations, ethics, the art of advocacy, Bob is the founder and CEO of the Advocacy Akademie. In other words, he belongs on our faculty.
We will discuss all this, but it is not likely to save you from still having to appear before an ALJ, and to help you with that, we have asked former ALJ Bob Soltis to join us for a few minutes today for some more of his timely and learned advice.
We’ll also discuss…
- What do you put in that OBS Letter that will be required next year?
- A first glance at the CMS RAC Report for FY2014
- What exactly happens if you do this SCF thing?
