The Perils of Repeal, Replace, Reform…
and a DNR

Why Can’t Congress focus on
healthcare, and not politics?

This is not a game, but Congress continues to act like it is. Why is that?

Finally Friday! Broadcasts are Sponsored by
The Health Law Partners, ZirMed,
The Fifth National Physician Advisor and
Utilization Review Boot Camp,
and MAS Coding Solutions

Due to circumstances beyond our control (at this moment) our LIVE room size may be limited this week… If you cannot enter the room and are told it’s full, please USE THE PHONE NUMBER(s) to call in and listen along, and download the slides to follow along.

Also keep in mind that ALL SHOWS are recorded and posted by Monday or sooner.

We are working to find an alternative by next week. We will be testing it this coming week and inform everyone at that time…

THIS WEEK, we are AGAIN talking about a true hot potato – the GOP Healthcare Plan  Fiasco  Stupid Idea  Nonsensical Plan(s) to Repeal and Replace the ACA, including the so-called “Skinny Bill” – and what REALLY needs to happen to REVIVE the ACA.

Joining us is Dr. Steve Meyerson, a member of the ACPA Board of Directors, who often writes for the ACPA blog, and recently wrote a post about all this. He doesn’t say so in his post, but I have to say, all those plans are truly horrific and monsterous, IMHO. Maybe it’s just me, dunno.

And since CMS just published the FY 2018 IPPS Final Rule, we will at least be giving a short review of that monster, as well, but we’ll save a complete review for a forthcoming show.

Anyway, THIS week, our Panel will be discussing :

  • WHAT success has the ACA achieved to date
  • WHAT success has POTUS or the GOP had to date at killing it
  • WHAT kind of effects would the GOP plans have on rural hospitals
  • HOW would the GOP plans accomplish what Secretary Price promises
  • WHO in Congress is okay with just letting the ACA implode
  • WHAT would some alternatives be to revive the ACA
  • Top Ten Things  that RAC attorneys say at an ALJ hearing

So join us, share your own insights and bring your questions for us!
